  • Community Inline Skate: Ages 5 & Up

    Join Skate St. Louis for a fun day of inline skating! This will be an open-skate style session where Skate STL reps will help skaters, give pointers and ensure people get the opportunity to try a new activity. This is open to all skill levels and ages. This is open to community members as well anyone who wants to try inline skating. A waiver is required for all participants. Participants must provide their own helmet, skates are provided.

  • Domino Mega Builders at Crestwood: Grades 2-5

    A great way to introduce kids to basic engineering, team building, & physics concepts! Builders, grades 2-5, will use dominoes to construct, then topple, individual and cooperative creations using A LOT of dominoes. Participants will explore different methods of building, types of engineering, develop problem solving skills, and work as a team. Offered in partnership with the Recreation Academy.   • Driver Education

    Combines virtual classroom instruction, in person driving, and behind the wheel observation. Learn skills related to traffic laws, vehicle dynamics and driving situations while using techniques for defensive driving. Students must be at least 15 years of age with a valid Missouri driving permit. This is a non-credit course but may help qualify for auto insurance discounts. Total of 4 hours of drive time using a Community Ed. vehicle is included. All classes are led by certified driving instructors. Classroom portion offered through virtual learning and will not meet in person. The instructor will email you prior to the start of class with links and any other information. Drive time sign up will take place at a later time TBD. Drive time will be in person.

Please continue reading to see changes that LECE is making to the enrollment process. LECE is transitioning to a rolling admissions process. Every February, we will ask families to renew their application in the Student Placement Queue (waitlist). This change ensures that our list remains current and includes families who are actively seeking placement at LECE. It also allows us to refresh the Student Placement Queue each year. Here are the most significant changes: The Student Placement Queue will be entirely refreshed in 2025. We will ask families to renew their application every February in the Student Placement Queue. Children have to be 3 before August 1st to be placed in the queue for the current school year. Typical Daily Schedule: 7:00-8:05 am Arrival and Breakfast 8:05-2:55 pm School Day 2:55-5:30 pm LECE Aftercare All teachers are certified by the state of Missouri, birth-3rd grade. All full time classroom support staff span the school day and into aftercare, providing continuity through the day. There is no additional payment needed for using aftercare. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are provided at no additional cost, depending on the time of class. Preschool follows the Lindbergh District Calendar. Summer Camp continuous enrollment is offered to full day students. Students do not need to be toilet trained to enroll.   • Early Childhood Education | Registration Request

    Registration for the 2025-26 school year and 2025 LECE Summer camp has begun! It will be open until March 28th. Please be sure to sign up for both Summer 25 and 25-26 School Year if you are interested in both. Both registrations are needed because these are two separate programs. Enrollment Information for the 2025-26 School Year Current Families: Your existing schedule is guaranteed for next school year as long as your registration form is completed. Schedule Changes: If you wish to add days or switch programs (e.g., part-day to full-day), you may submit a registration form. However, these changes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Lindbergh Staff: You receive priority placement and will be enrolled in the order your registration is received, as long as a spot is available. New Families: Registration opens Thursday, February 27th. When you register, you will be placed in our Student Enrollment Queue in the order applications are received. We will contact you in the late spring if a spot is confirmed for your child. You will be charged the $50.00 Registration Fee at that time. All Lindbergh resident students will be placed before any out of district student placement. Deadline: All registrations close at the end of March. Use simple machines to complete different tasks like lifting weights. Make your own mini-catapult and grabber device as you discover how simple machines make work easier! Offered in partnership with Mad Science. Artist's Passport: Embark on an art adventure as we explore cultural art from China and Europe. Admire European wallpaper styles, then design and print our own block pattern. Cultivate the art of writing with Chinese calligraphy. We will learn the importance of movement and flow with a calligraphy-style brush technique, and turn ideas into images. We’ll preserve Chinese characters on a rattle drum. Offered in partnership with Crayola Imagine Arts Academy. Game On- STEM & Sports Edition: Get ready for a full day of fast-paced fun and discovery! Game On is a one-of-a-kind camp experience from The Recreation Academy that fuses exciting, hands-on STEM challenges with high-energy sports and playground games. Kids rotate through engaging activities every 30–60 minutes, keeping both minds and bodies in motion all day long.

  • First Down Flag Football Clinic: Grades 1-6

    Come learn the rules and skills of the games on both sides of the ball! Participants will compete in daily skill contests. Scrimmages will take place on the final day of camp.
