    Girl Power Theatre: Celebrate powerful female characters and their stories through the world of musical theatre! Campers will explore scenes and songs from empowering musicals such as Six, Matilda, Legally Blonde, and & Juliet. Through acting, singing, and choreography, they will develop confidence, teamwork, and creativity. The camp will culminate in a final performance for friends and family highlighting what they've learned.   • Indoor Volleyball League Grades 3-8

    Improve your volleyball game while having a fun time! Join this league for grades 3-8 in order to develop fundamental skills through practices and match competition. The league includes once a week practice and an 8-game schedule. Volunteer coaches are needed. Grades: 3–8 Practices: Weekdays beginning Aug 25. Games: Fridays and Saturdays beginning Sept 5-6. Location: Held at various district area facilities Early Bird Fee: $115, Early Registration deadline is July 31st. $130 after July 30th, only if space is available.
  • Jr Cheerleading Camp: Ages 5+

    Cheerleading teaches athletes about leadership, teamwork, and helps build self-confidence. Participants will learn basic motions, jumps, and chants/cheers. They will also work on tumbling, conditioning and stunts. Camp may go outside so participants should bring sunscreen. Camper must bring own snacks, sack lunch (no refrigeration available) and water bottle. Register by May 1st to guarantee a camp T-Shirt in the correct size!

  • Lindbergh String Project

    Welcome to the Lindbergh String Project! Our mission is to provide accessible, quality instruction to younger students in the Lindbergh Strings program, while giving LHS Orchestra students the opportunity to gain teaching experience within a structured environment. Our String Project teachers have completed a multi-part teacher training course, and undergone a rigorous application process which included a written exam, audition, interview, and submission of various professional artifacts. Teachers will meet regularly throughout the semester under the supervision of Mrs. Landers (LHS Orchestra Director), for feedback and guidance. The String Project will host masterclasses and recitals each semester, where students will be given the opportunity to perform in a formal setting for friends, family, and other LSP participants. Please note that a parent/guardian must be present during lessons.

    Little Medical School inspires young minds by sharing our passion for learning, health, and careers in medicine. Through hands-on activities, role-play, and interactive demonstrations, children explore the exciting world of healthcare. All programs are written by experienced educators, board-certified physicians, and trained healthcare professionals. Our classes are led by trained Little Medical School ® Instructors. Little Vet Canine Companions: Become a paw-some veterinarian! Camp participants will roleplay the key responsibilities in a vet office and learn how to care for their plush canine patients. These future veterinarians will learn how to remove ticks, perform a nose-to-tail exam, understand proper animal nutrition and hydration, decode dog body language, and more! Little Vet Feline Friends: Become a purr-fect veterinarian! Camp participants adopt a plush feline patient and learn how vets help take care of pet cats. These future veterinarians will learn how to perform a tip-to-tail exam, suture lacerations, to set up a litter box and safe areas for their pet, make cat toys, and more! Little Vet Equine Medicine: Biting at the bit to learn more about horses? This equine camp is for you! Become a vet for a week and learn all about the care and maintenance of a horse. Take an oath and use real medical tools to keep your newly adopted plush horse happy and healthy. After learning about horse anatomy, riding styles, and nutrition you can ride into the sunset with your diploma. Giddy up! Wilderness Medicine Camp: Conquer the great outdoors! Camp participants will role play emergency situations in the wild and learn how to prepare for natural disasters. These future emergency medics will learn about snake bites, hypothermia, tourniquets, poisonous plants, edible plants, distress signals, forest fires, tornadoes, mosquito bites, and more. Sports Medicine: Step into the big leagues! Participants will discover the all-star team behind their favorite athletes! From physical therapists to nutritionists, get a peek at how the pros stay in top shape. Plus, learn how to treat common sports injuries and stay extra hydrated. We'll even delve into Tommy John Surgery! Little Pediatrician Camp: Be Your Baby’s First Doctor! Students will roleplay the key responsibilities of a pediatrician and learn how to care for a baby. Participants adopt their own adorable plush and learn how to change, bathe, burp, swaddle, and bottle feed a baby. These future doctors will explore the different parts of the brain and spine, perform a physical exam, administer first aid, and discover the functions of the heart and lungs. Little Doctor School Camp: Inspired learning today - healthy futures tomorrow! Camp participants will roleplay the key responsibilities of a doctor and learn about vital organs in the human body. These future doctors will learn how to use a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, and reflex hammer. They will practice administering first aid, learn how pharmacists play a role in administering medications, and more!

    Secret Agent Lab: The following camp description is classified as TOP SECRET! Ever dream of becoming a secret agent? We'll start with the basics, from decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision. Campers will have the opportunity to check out spy tech equipment and take-home lots of gadgets like spy glasses! Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Figure out the science of forensics in a hands-on look at crime scenes! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a hands-on investigation of the science that spies use! Underground Explorers: Kids learn about archaeology and the techniques scientists use to excavate long lost cities! They discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts they used in everyday life! They also study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils to understand what they can tell us about history! What's more, each class includes a make and take-home project, like a fossil reproduction, an amber time capsule, and coins from around the world! Offered in partnership with Mad Science. Make It!: Roll up your sleeves, put on your makers cap, and get ready to create! This is our most hands-on camp! Who can build the strongest bridge? Kids will dissect owl pellets and reconstruct Hooty's dinner. Enter the Mad Science chemistry lab and mix, mash, and brew concoctions! Assemble and control pulleys, levers, catapults, simple machines, and mega pinchers! Campers will discover the wonders of light and photography. It's a week packed with non-stop science fun! Offered in partnership with Mad Science. Please bring a sack lunch, snacks, and water bottle. Mad Inventors: Creative Contraption Warning! This is a camp designed by you -- the Inventor! Each day you'll be given a series of challenges which must be overcome using basic materials, simple machines, tips from the world of famous inventors, and the most important thing of all -- your mind. With a little bit of ingenuity, you'll construct catapults and forts and then lay siege, construct a mini boat and make it sail. While Thomas Edison said invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration, this camp is 100% fun! Offered in partnership with Mad Science. Please bring a sack lunch, snacks, and water bottle. Wings & Things: From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, this week long, hands-on program will give children a bird's eye view of the history and science of flight. Your child will build many different flying devices and explore the science of aerodynamics and flight with the help of Newton's laws. We don't stop there, though, because we're heading out of the atmosphere with a look at rockets and our Galactic neighborhood! Offered in partnership with Mad Science. However, If your child would like to continue his/her interest in launching rockets outside of camp, you will need to purchase a launch kit from Walmart or a hobby shop. The Nuts & Bolts of Robots: Embark on 4 days of exhilarating robot exploration made just for kids! Get ready to be awed as we delve into the fascinating world of robotics. Get hands-on as you make gears and set things into motion. Unite as a team to craft your very own circuits, unveiling the intricate web of connections that power robots. Delve into the mesmerizing world of sensors and witness how robots use them to navigate and interact with their surroundings. Discover the countless roles robots play in our daily lives. Experiment with sound-sensing marvels, master line-tracking wonders, and so much more! Throughout the week, you'll accumulate a wealth of knowledge and skills which you’ll use to create your own working robot to take home with you.     Drop your child off for a couple hours of fun! Open gyms are for anyone who wants to come try out gymnastics equipment, work on routines and skills, or just play and have fun! You do not have to be a gymnast and anyone ages 6+ is welcome. There will be coaches there to supervise play but will not be providing formal instruction and/or skill spotting.

    Enjoy the game of soccer in a fun, team setting! This recreational outdoor soccer league is for boys and girls in grades K-8 and will help develop your child's skills and knowledge of the game.     You are never too young to be in the gym! Little ones will love the special open gym time to play and explore. Watch your child's motor skills and confidence grow . Minimal instruction provided. Must have at least one parent/adult per child.
  • Pre-Team/Team: Tryout Required

    Team Build your skills and gain confidence through competitive gymnastics! Team primarily operates year-round. Practice fees are paid monthly August-June and include your AAU membership. Any meet fees or apparel will be separate. Competition apparel must be purchased at the start of the fall. Registration for July practices will be available in February with the release of our Summer Catalog. Teams typically compete in at least 6 area meets. We travel to areas such as St. Charles, Poplar Bluff, Farmington, and other AAU sanctioned meets that may require extra travel. Level 1 & 2 are competing teams for gymnasts that have completed Pre-Team with excellence. Xcel Bronze, Silver, Gold, & Platinum are competing teams with free form level providing variety of skills to choose from and the ability to create a unique routine.     PRESCHOOL Our preschool classrooms are for children who are 1-2 years from kindergarten eligibility. Classroom placements are based upon kindergarten cohorts. Every February, we will ask families to renew their application in the Student Placement Queue (waitlist). This change ensures that our list remains current and includes families who are actively seeking placement at LECE. It also allows us to refresh the Student Placement Queue each year. Here are the most significant changes: The Student Placement Queue will be entirely refreshed in 2025. We will ask families to renew their application every February in the Student Placement Queue. Children have to be 3 before August 1st to be placed in the queue for the current school year. Typical Daily Schedule: 7:00-8:05 am Arrival and Breakfast 8:05-2:55 pm School Day 2:55-5:30 pm LECE Aftercare All teachers are certified by the state of Missouri, birth-3rd grade. All full time classroom support staff span the school day and into aftercare, providing continuity through the day. There is no additional payment needed for using aftercare.
