Use simple machines to complete different tasks like lifting weights. Make your own mini-catapult and grabber device as you discover how simple machines make work easier! Offered in partnership with Mad Science.
Artist's Passport: Embark on an art adventure as we explore cultural art from China and Europe. Admire European wallpaper styles, then design and print our own block pattern. Cultivate the art of writing with Chinese calligraphy. We will learn the importance of movement and flow with a calligraphy-style brush technique, and turn ideas into images. We’ll preserve Chinese characters on a rattle drum. Offered in partnership with Crayola Imagine Arts Academy.
Game On- STEM & Sports Edition: Get ready for a full day of fast-paced fun and discovery! Game On is a one-of-a-kind camp experience from The Recreation Academy that fuses exciting, hands-on STEM challenges with high-energy sports and playground games. Kids rotate through engaging activities every 30–60 minutes, keeping both minds and bodies in motion all day long.
