Flyers Rugby Middle School Clinic
Learn about the fun and fast-growing sport of rugby! More and more kids are playing rugby to become well-rounded athletes, benefiting from the emphasis on ball-skills, conditioning and teamwork. Plus, with the rise of college programs and professional leagues in the US, rugby offers an abundance of college scholarship opportunities locally and nationally even to athletes starting in high school. This clinic is open to all middle schoolers (grades 6 - 8) and seeks to provide a fun introduction to rugby with no experience required. It will cover basic skills and conditioning through hands-on team activities. The camp will be run by the Lindbergh Flyers rugby team (2019 state champions and second runner-up in 2021). This clinic is FREE! A t-shirt can be purchased for $10. Check out Flyers Rugby on Instagram for more information or contact the coaching staff directly at firstname.lastname@example.org

Intermediate Fencing Grades 3-8
Intermediate Fencing builds on the skills acquired in the beginner fencing class! Our intermediate class is designed to help develop skills learned in beginning fencing while introducing students to electric fencing (electronic scoring machines that more accurately register touches scored) and new weapons. Students will fence using all three types of the weapons in Olympic style fencing (foil, saber and epee) so that they are better able to choose a weapon if they wish to continue fencing. Offered in Partnership with Parkway Fencing Club. *Please note that only participants completing the beginner class will be allowed to registered, unless prior approval is received.
Flyers Soccer Club Tryout/Kick Around
If your child is interested in continuing soccer over the winter and through next spring then we have a new opportunity for you. This will be a free one time kickaround/evaluation so that we can gauge interest and determine the number of teams that we can form to get our new soccer teams started to participate over the next 6 months. Our goal is to have current parent volunteer coaches for each team and use paid soccer coaches to run training sessions also throughout the season. Lindbergh is forming teams to play and develop their soccer skills by training and participating in a winter and spring soccer league. Our Flyers Soccer teams will provide a fun and challenging soccer experience at a reasonable cost with reduced travel time by training at facilities within the Lindbergh district. Our teams will play games this year in the St. Louis Scott Gallager leagues which hold games indoors at the Manchester Vetta and outdoor at the Soccer Park in Fenton. We are looking for current teams and any individual players that would like to take their skills to the next level. Teams will be formed by age groups for both boys and girls teams which include: U8 (2014 birthday), U9 (2013 birthday), U10 (2012 birthday) and U11 (2011 birthday). U8 teams would play 6v6 format, U9, U10 teams will play 7v7 format, U11 teams play 9v9 format.
