Cecelia Hahn: Violin

Enrichment / Youth Enrichment / Lindbergh String Project -
Winter-Spring 2026

Teaching Philosophy:

My goal is to help students learn how to use expression in music to portray the story that the

composer has written. It is also vital that students learn the foundations of correct technique to

set them up for success in the future. Students will learn how and why the techniques they are

using will help them later on. They will also learn about how phrasing and dynamics are used to

convey a story or feeling in the music. Learning an instrument should be an exciting and fun

experience, and I aim to help students find their own self-motivation along the way. Although

learning an instrument takes hard work, it should still be a positive experience so that students

enjoy playing their instrument.
